Wednesday morning in Hong Kong, Google launched the latest iteration of the Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich, alongside the Samsung announcement of the Galaxy Nexus. While Samsung certainly wowed the audience with a truly impressive phone, the real star of the show was Android 4.0. Ice Cream Sandwich makes Android simple and beautiful, and takes the smartphone to beyond smart.
Yesterday we learned a couple of new details about Google’s latest mobile operating system, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. First off, Android chief Andy Rubin revealed that it would start rolling out to other Android 2.3 devices a few weeks after that Samsung Galaxy Nexus launch.
