Iris Voice Assistant Now Available On Android Market ( Free )
Voice technology is certainly not new but when Apple adds it to a handset the world takes notice. Siri can surprise with its web searching and its ability to pick the most suitable web source for a query to make life even easier for its users.
Now, team from Dexetra.com start to develop an app like Siri for android phone, called Iris.
According to the developer Iris Inspired from the iPhone feature Siri, iris interacts with you in voice. Iris for android will search the answer from Wikipedia and other source to get the best answer quickly. Iris allows you to search on various subjects including conversions, art, literature, history, and biology. You can ask it “who invented the phone?” and it will reply great answer with a paragraph from Wikipedia. Iris for Android is in the very early stages of development and now still alpha releases. So, i hope that it will be more perfect and integrate with more features on the future. Other apps for Siri Alternative are Speaktoit Assistant and Vlingo, these apps is released before Iris for Android.
