Intel Powered Android Smartphone- Lava Xolo X900 Vs iPhone 4S Vs Samsung Galaxy S2
Lava XOLO X900 with Intel inside is making waves across the world. The new Lava XOLO X900 is the a large 4-inch touchscreen display smartphone powered by the 1.6GHz Intel Medfield processor and a 400MHz graphics processor for enhanced gaming experience. It is an Android smartphone (upgradeable to Android ICS) featuring high speed 3G connectivity with up to 21 Mbps download speed . It also sports WiFi , GPS , and NFC connectivity features .
Intel claims that the smartphones powered by its Z2460 processor can give battery back up to eight hours on 3G voice calling, six hours of HD video decoding, or five hours of 3G browsing, and standby time of 14 hours. Intel’s processor is said to be capable of clocking at a speed of 2GHz. The Z2460 processor is based on Intel’s XMM 6260 HSPA+ radio with Hyper-Threading Technology.
I think Lava XOLO X900 is just a test for Intel, though and the company is launching this device in only India. I hope Intel will releases a similar but slightly more powerful Intel powered Android Smartphone to other countries soon .
