
Japanese popular electronics maker, Sony today has announced its first Android tablet PC which code named are S1 and S2. Sony’s tablets will be support WiFi and 3G/4G where S1 has a 9.4-inch display and S2 has two 5.5-inch disign.

Sony S1 design will be tapered on one end “like holding a magazine” and Sony S2 can be folded into a clamshell which design similar to Kyocera Echo with its dual-screen setup. Both of these Android tablet will be powered by Tegra, compatible with Sony’s online music services and its e-book store, run on Android 3.0, compatible with WiFi, 3G and 4G connectivity. The S1 and S2 are scheduled to ship this autumn with the S1 expected to cost in the region of $599 and the S2 price is expected around $699.
